As a Global Coordinator for the Planeterra Foundation, based in Toronto, Alanna focuses on harnessing the travel industry to improve the lives of women, youth, and underserved communities, with a focus on Europe and Africa. Holding a Masters in Global Development Challenges from the University of Edinburgh, and having worked and lived across Africa since 2011, Alanna sees unlimited opportunity for the travel industry, and individual travellers themselves, to make a positive impact while travelling in a sustainable way.
